• A Quick Stop in Bangkok

To be honest, when I decided to make Thailand my first trip to Asia, I had very little interest in visiting Bangkok. I was much more interested in the sunny beaches and gorgeous hikes than sweating around a crowded, expensive city. Fortunately, my friends disagreed and we booked three days to spend exploring Bangkok. There’s lots to see and do and I ended up liking it much more than I thought I would (the strong A/C in the hotels didn’t hurt either). Simple Thai Phrases and Tips for Visiting Thailand For a quick lesson on some basic Thai phrases and some general advice for traveling through Thailand, check out my…

  • Four Days in Phuket, Thailand

Phuket was our first stop on our two week Thailand vacation (and my favorite stop!). Although the flight was grueling, even from Europe, the 20+ hours of travel were well worth the vacation of a lifetime. After months of research and hunting for the best deals in Patong Beach, here’s how we decided to spend our four days in Phuket, Thailand. • 24 Hours in Milan

Hmmm…what to do with an extra day in Italy? How about… pack a bag, book a hostel and head to the only Italian city with both Uber and Starbucks! I love a good Italian cappuccino as much as the next guy, but sometimes a girl just needs a €7 cup of Venti soy and god-knows-what-else to remind her of home and get her through her Ryanair flight. 24 hours is never enough time to really “see” a city, but it’s plenty of time to drink some wine and hit the highlights! Here’s what to do with 24 hours in Milan! For some basic Italian phrases, check out my post A Guide…

  • A Guide to the Best Sights in Rome

Rome has been my favorite city in the world from the second I stepped off my Alitalia flight for my study abroad semester back in 2017. Since then, I have lived in Florence for 18 months and traveled to 21 European countries…and Rome still remains my favorite. Although when I first arrived I was technically there to “study,” I had only class twice a week. This gave me plenty of free time to explore the city! Over those four months, my friends and I compiled a long list of our favorite restaurants, bars, museums, attractions and adventures in Rome. Keep reading and enjoy my guide to the best sights in Rome!…

  • Czech-in’ Out Prague

Ahoj readers! A trip to Europe isn’t complete without boarding a super-sketchy Ryanair flight and Czech-in’ out Prague (feel free to laugh at my hilarious pun).  Although we could only spend two days in this gorgeous city, it ended up being one of my favorite trips, and not only cause I got to pet a […]
